SHIPPING & PICKUP
When will my order ship?
Items that are in stock are prepared for shipping within 2 days. Most items ship in Canada within 4-10 business days and to the USA within 5-10 business days although all shipping times may vary due to seasonal volume. For any products that are made to order, please allow 1-2 weeks for your order to be processed for shipping. ( If an item is made to order, this will be indicated on the product page). Please see international orders information below. All customers receive tracking numbers for their package to track the progress of their shipment.
For delivery outside of Canada, please note your package may be subject to customs fees when it arrives.
I am not responsible for transportation delays or incidents caused by USPS, Canada Post or other shipping services. I do not provide refunds or re-send packages that are lost in the mail, particularly those traveling outside of Canada or the USA.
$10 Flat Rate Shipping or Free Shipping for purchases OVER $80 in Canada and the US.
I offer $10 tracked flat rate shipping for all orders sent to Canada and the US. Orders over $80 ship for free.
Can I upgrade my shipping so my parcel arrives more quickly?
Yes! Please get in touch and I'll provide an estimate on the cost and the estimated delivery date. I'm happy to ship Canada Post Priority or Xpresspost or USPS Priority or other services and pass those costs along to you. If you want to know the exact cost prior to purchasing an item, please get in touch with at email@example.com and I am happy to provide you with the exact shipping cost.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I ship internationally. I use Canada Post and offer Xpresspost International, and Tracked Packet International - all options that include tracking. You can find compare these options on the Canada Post website here: compare international shipping if you click on the International tab at the top.
For international customers in the UK and the European Union please note that items shipped are Delivered at Place (DAP) also known as Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). This term indicates that the seller Förtrollad only takes responsibility for shipping the product, and requires the customer to pay any import costs, such as VAT, duties, and clearing fees. If you are interested in purchasing from Förtrollad and would like to assess and estimate the fees associated with your potential purchase, please get in touch with me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you offer free no-contact local pickup?
Yes I do. If you prefer to save on shipping costs, you can pick up your order at my Toronto studio located near Keele & St. Clair Ave west. Just select local pickup at checkout. When your order is ready, you'll receive an email with my contact information to arrange for contact-free porch pick up at a time that's convenient for you.
My purchase is a gift. Can I include a message?
Yes! If you purchase a gift, just drop me a note at email@example.com and let me know that you'd like to include a note. Send along what you'd like your note to day and I'm happy to write your note in a blank notecard.
